I would like to invite you to attend a special event to protect seniors from scams.
Together with local law enforcement, the Contractors State License Board, and the City of Calexico, I am holding a Senior Scam Stopper event to make sure you have the information needed to protect yourself from becoming a victim.
Representatives from state agencies will provide information to teach you how to spot scams and fraud in topics such as:
- Home repair
- Telemarketing
- Unclaimed property
- Identity theft
- Mortgages and more
If you are not a senior citizen, please share this information with your neighbors and loved ones who may benefit from attending this event.
