(RIVERSIDE, CA) -– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is alerting motorists that Interstate 10 (I-10) is closed between Route 86 and the Arizona State Line July 19 after a severe storm caused a section of the interstate to collapse. I-10 eastbound collapsed and the westbound direction was severely undermined at Tex Wash (Adair Overcrossing), about 44 miles east of Route 86 (Coachella) and 42 miles west of the Arizona State Line.
Motorists are advised to avoid travel on I-10 until further notice and use other detour routes such as Arizona Route 95 to Interstate 40 (I-40), Interstate 8 (I-8) to State Route 111 (SR 111) to State Route (SR 86) 86 or State Route 177 (SR 177) to State Route 62 (SR 62) to access I-10.

(RIVERSIDE, CA) -- El Departamento de Transporte de California (Caltrans) quisiera hacerles llegar a los automovilistas que la Autopista 10 (I-10) está cerrado entre la Ruta 86 y la línea del Estado de Arizona desde el 19 de julio, después de una fuerte tormenta que causó que se derrumbara una parte del puente cercas del Tex-Wash que esta aproximadamente 44 millas al este de la Ruta 86 (Coachella) y 42 millas al oeste de la línea del Estado de Arizona.
Se recomienda que los automovilistas eviten viajar por la Autopista 10 (I-10) hasta un nuevo aviso y que utilicen otras rutas de desvío como Arizona Ruta 95 a la Interestatal 40 (I-40), o la Autopista 8 (I-8) de la Ruta Estatal 111 (SR 111) para la Ruta Estatal (SR 86) 86 o la Ruta Estatal 177 (SR 177) hasta la Ruta Estatal 62 (SR 62) para acceder a la Autopsita 10 (I-10).
