Committee focuses in shaping policy challenges surrounding water and parks
(SACRAMENTO, CA.) – State Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon announced today his appointment of Assemblyman Eduardo Garcia (D-Coachella) to the Committee on Water, Parks, and Wildlife.
“I am excited about serving on the State Assembly Committee on Water, Parks and Wildlife,” said Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia. “Our district has a seat at the table as we look for sustainable solutions for water issues and the Salton Sea,” stated Assemblymember Garcia.
The Water, Parks, and Wildlife Committee primary jurisdictions are water resources, flood management, fish and game, parks and recreation, and wildlife.
Assemblyman Eduardo Garcia (D-Coachella) is the Chair of Committee on Jobs, Economic Development, and the Economy; and serves on the following committees: Transportation; Appropriations; Governmental Organization and Utilities & Commerce. New to the Assemblyman’s work load is the Committee on Water, Parks and Wildlife.
