(COACHELLA, CA)— Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia (D-Coachella) joined Speaker Anthony Rendon (D-Paramount) and other Assembly colleagues in issuing an open letter to assure Californians of the legislature’s steadfast commitment to crucial issues in the wake of a new Presidential administration.
“Count on my advocacy and California’s continued leadership,” professed Assemblymember Garcia. “We will not falter to protect the policies and values that make us who we are. More than ever we must unite under the banner of hope and champion issues of social justice and dignity starting here within our own community.”
This evening, Assemblymember Garcia joined in an East Valley community discussion “Reimagining Justice Platica” geared to bring residents together with their local elected leaders and assuage any fears or uncertainty they may have for the future.
