MANA de Imperial Valley President, Martha Singh, also expressed her gratitude, “MANA de Imperial Valley truly appreciates Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia for nominating our organization to be a part of AT&T’s Investing in California Awards for 2020.  Our organization seeks solutions and support to benefit our vulnerable community members impacted by COVID-19. The awarded funding will be used to assist homeless shelters for women and their children with supplies such as sewing kits to make face masks, hand sanitizers, and cleaning supplies to maintain the recommended health guidelines to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Farmworkers will be provided with COVID-19 literature, face masks, and information on local testing sites. We will participate and assist local nonprofit organizations that provide COVID -19 patients, who are isolated and recovering at home with meals and/or grocery boxes.
