(Imperial, CA) On Thursday, December 21, Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia (D-Coachella) and IBEW Local 569 held a holiday Posada and toy donation event. As part of their annual holiday partnership, they provided toys to various community groups and local nonprofit agencies. These toys will benefit Imperial Valley children in need. In addition to IBEW Local 569, EWMC of Southern California and Southwest Security helped to support this toy giveaway. Amigos de Alejandro, Baja Runners, Johnson Chapel, Northend Alliance 111, and Best S.T.E.P Forward were invited to enjoy holiday festivities before picking up donated toys that they will distribute among the families they serve.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to brighten the holiday for Imperial Valley children and support the service mission of community organizations through our partnership with IBEW Local 569, EWMC of Southern California, and Southwest Security,” said Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia.
