Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia Sworn Into Office, Honored to Serve

(Sacramento) – The Coachella Valley's newest California State Assemblymember, Eduardo Garcia (D-Coachella), was sworn into office yesterday at a special session of the CA Assembly at the State Capitol in Sacramento. Assemblymember Garcia said his legislative priority is to create and retain jobs in the State of California and in the 56th Assembly district. His other priorities include providing early access to education, encouraging the success of small business, and improving access to healthcare through the continued implementation of the Affordable Care Act in California. Assemblymember Garcia says he is also committed to ensuring the mission of the newly passed water bond in order to preserve the agricultural economy of area.
