(SACRAMENTO, CA)— Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia (D-Coachella) joins Majority Leader Ian Calderon (D-Whittier) to introduce Assembly Bill 1127, requiring baby diaper changing stations be installed in men’s and women’s restrooms in restaurants, department stores and other frequently visited public buildings and businesses in California.

(SACRAMENTO)— Today, Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia (D-Coachella) is honored to announce his appointment to the California Air Resources Board (CARB).  The passage of Assemblymember Garcia’s historic AB 197 (Garcia, 2016) added two new non-voting members to CARB to add legislative oversight to increase the board’s transparency and accountability.

This measure would allow Native American Indian Tribes or Tribal organizations to seek direct reimbursement from the federal government for Medi-Cal Targeted Case Management (TCM) services.
